With thirty years experience in the design, manufacture and installation of specialist glazing systems, it seemed a natural progression for Fendor to offer a direct works service to NHS clients looking to refurbish existing hospital wards and secure facilities.
By acting as principal contractor on small to medium sized works, Fendor can organise the entire project. Fendor’s turn-key service includes liaison meeting with planners (particularly on listed buildings), detailed survey, design, scaffolding & site access, site welfare, removal and recycling of existing materials, installation of new and making good all finishes to return the room to a finished condition. Everything is taken care of to the complete satisfaction of the client.
Minimise disruption
All projects are overseen by our project coordinators who liaise with site personnel to ensure that both staff and patients suffer as little disruption to their daily routine as possible. Given the level of service offered, Fendor can adapt more easily to the daily requests of the client for example should a patient become unwell and need to remain in their room Fendor can adjust the programme accordingly. Our fully trained and H&S accredited installation teams ensure disruption is minimised and that rooms are quickly ready for use again.
