Windows
Fendor's Blast and Ballistic Division has quickly been established as a leading player within blast and ballistic resistant systems and can bring a wealth of technical expertise and real experience to your project solution.
All BlastLine™ systems are designed in accordance with ASCE Design of Blast Resistant Buildings, GSA Standard GN04-005 and in accordance with the Petrochemical Industry Recommended Practice of Design of Blast Resistant Buildings April 1998.
SlamShut™ Windows
Part of the BlastLine™ range, SlamShut™ is a large outward ’opening’ window which has been blast tested in the open position. The window ‘slams shut’ on impact of the blast pressure, acting as a blast damper. This window uniquely allows natural ventilation in buildings at risk from potential blast events, saving on expensive air conditioning. Developed by Fendor Blast and Ballistic Division and tested by BakerRisk, Texas.
Sliding Windows
BlastLine™ Scorrevole™ Windows are suited to applications such as gatehouses, receptions, and secure/store rooms. Blast resistant sliding windows are a convenient to transfer of paperwork and parcels, whilst protecting staff.
Alto and Basso Medio Fully Glazed Doors
The BlastLine™ range has two types of fully glazed doors: Alto (high blast resistance) and Basso Medio (medium blast resistance), designed for situations were an architectural appearance is required and were a clear view of the site is desirable
BulletLine™
Fendor’s BulletLine range of windows, doors and facades is designed to achieve all of the levels of the US (NIJ 0108.01 and UL752) and European Standard (EN 1063 and 1522). Working chiefly with high grades of steel and special glazing, the products in this range are innately strong. They can provide extremely high levels of security (e.g. FEBR standard.)
Bullet and blast combinations can also be produced.
Due to the sensitive nature of these applications, please contact technical@fendor.co.uk for more information.

Other Applications
Stretto Glazed Curtain Wall
Part of the BlastLine™ range, ‘Stretto’ system has the narrow sight lines of conventional curtain walling and is suited to medium and high blast applications.
Muro Blast Wall
Fendor's revolutionary lightweight blast wall can be used as blast shielding and as interior or exterior blast wall or partition protection. ‘Muro’ Blast Wall also has the additional advantage of offering acoustic and thermal insulation properties, and can be clad or decorated to suit the building environment.
Suited for medium and high blast pressures, Muro blast wall can be fitted with windows and doors from the BlastLine™ range to form part of the exterior envelope if required.
