By retaining the existing stone façade and creating the ‘glass box’ inside the walls, the client was able to buildadditional floors without disturbing the features of this building.
Fire protection was a must to the perimeter elevations. Fendor FineLine curtain wall and double glazed units
providing 60 minutes integrity were used. Floor zones were created with opaque glass and fire protection.
The internal atrium utilised the same framing system with 10mm Pyrolithic.
The project comprised over 2000m2 of fire resistant glazing and secondary structural steelwork provided by
Fendor.
