Fendor Ltd designed profiles to maintain maximum vision areas and minimum sightlines. Cold rolled by Forster-Rohr-& Profilsystem to provide 30 minute integrity and insulation faceted secondary glazing line.

Fully independent fire assessment to justify use of bespoke profile designs, covering load bearing capabilities, faceted design layout, vent design sizes and insulated glass incorporation all in accordance with BS476: Part 20/22

Glazing details

15mm Pyrostop
Type: Swingline Rebated Vents
Material: Steel
Finish: All steel sections to be polyester powder coated top coat finish.
Ref RAL 9006 matt to a thickness of 60-80 microns.
Ironmongery: Vents complete with weld on hinges supplied by door manufacturer. Key locking only
Other requirements: Framing system and glass to achieve 30 minutes integrity and insulation fire performance. Framing allowed for fitting tolerance, building movements and deflections, as well as tolerance for fire expansion to the screen. All perimeter gaps filled with fire resisting mineral wool and pointed with fire retardant silicone. Spandrel panels incorporated 15mm thk supalux board held in place with steel angles and J sections.
