Fendor Ltd Company History

1982 – 1989 Fenlock Door Systems

  • Part of the Laidlaw and Thomson Hardware Group. The Company provided various types of doors including fully glazed doors, flush steel doors and up and over doors.

1989 – 1992 NT Harris-Fenlock.

  • Fenlock Door Systems was purchased by the Newman Tonks UK PLC group. NT then bought Harris Architecturl Metalwork and created NT Harris-Fenlock. The products became more focussed on steel and glass doors whether that be fire or non fire resisting.

1992 – 2005 FenlockHansen.

  • NT Harris-Fenlock was then purchased by HansenGroup in 1992. HansenGroup then merged Harris-Fenlock with Jandor Architectural. Jandor Architectural produced very similar products to Fenlock. The company became FendorHansen operating under the consolidated Company FenlockHansen Ltd.

2005 – Dec 06 FendorHansen Ltd.

  • On 1st July 2005 FendorHansen became a Limited Company. Key areas of operation include Security and Fire Glazing Systems. Turnover for Year Ending 30th June 2006 was £5.5M.

Dec 2006 -  FendorHansen Ltd

  • Purchased under an MBO from HansenGroup by Fendor Holdings Ltd

April 2007 - Fendor Ltd

  • Company name changed to Fendor Ltd
